# Opt a content in/out of cross-corpus search

`PATCH /v2/media/discoverability`

## Request

Set whether a content you own is discoverable in the (free) cross-corpus
metadata search. Default is ON (opt-out — see
backfill_discoverable_default.py); this endpoint is how an owner opts a
piece out, or back in. Owner only.
