# Meta Ads Credential Cap Set

`PATCH /v2/credentials/{credential_id}/meta-ads/budget-cap`

Set the most any single ad through this ad account may commit (Tom,
2026-10-13). Only the owner of the Meta Ads connection, signed in as a
person: a workspace or team owner who does not own the ad account
cannot set or raise it, and a key or an agent cannot raise the ceiling
it is bounded by. In the ad account's currency, as Meta reported it at
selection. Activation needs this cap AND the workspace's cap.
