# Apply General Settings

`POST /v2/contents/{content_id}/apply-general-settings`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.jubjubapp.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

Apply content's general settings to platform configurations.

Copies specified fields from Content to PlatformConfig.settings.
Useful for "Apply to All" button in the UI.

Field mapping:
- title → title (YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Vimeo)
- description → description, caption (Instagram)
- tags → tags (YouTube, Vimeo)

Access: Must have CONTENT_EDIT permission on the parent workspace.

## Request body

- ApplyGeneralSettingsRequest: Request to apply content's general settings to platform configs.
  - `fields` string[], required: Fields to apply: title, description, tags
  - `overwrite_custom` boolean: If true, overwrites configs that have custom values
  - `config_ids` string[], nullable: Specific configs to update. If empty, updates all.

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- ApplyGeneralSettingsResponse: Response after applying general settings.
  - `content_id` string, required
  - `fields_applied` string[], required
  - `updated` string[]: Config IDs that were updated
  - `skipped` object[]: Configs skipped with reason

## Other responses

- `422`: Validation Error
