# A ranked, sourced answer to one question

`GET /hotels/{market}/{question}.json`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://journeyed.org`
- URL: `https://journeyed.org/hotels/{market}/{question}.json`
- Auth: none declared

The ranked places with their Fit Score, place score, distance and the sourced facts that answer the question; sponsored placements are a separate array. A slug that starts with "best-" (from answers.json bestOf[]) is a best-of page and returns BestOfTwin (type "best-of") instead; a slug that starts with "hotels-within-walking-distance-of-" (answers.json walking[]) is a walking page and returns WalkingTwin (type "walking").

      - `routed` RoutedDistance, required: A distance along OpenStreetMap streets and paths between a hotel and a landmark, beside the straight-line distanceMi and never shorter than it. walkMin is the routing engine's estimate (say "about"), never a measured time. driveMi is a distance only: no drive time is published. A null part is not on record.

- `404`: No such page. Twins are not redirected: when a page moved or a question fell below the publish threshold, its HTML URL redirects but its .json and .md twins return 404, so re-read answers.json.
