# Poster accepts one bid; the amount is escrowed now (optionally split into milestones)

`POST /v1/jobs/{id}/award`

## Response `200`

Job awarded. replayed: true when an identical award had already won (that attempt is charged nothing net)

## Other responses

- `202`: Accepted but not yet confirmed: the escrow is either held by this award or will be refunded automatically within 15 minutes by the job-board sweeper. Reload the job; do not retry blindly
- `402`: Insufficient credits
- `403`: Not the poster
- `409`: Award refused; escrow refunded
