# Get Status

`GET /patient-merge/v1/status/{mrn_or_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://pre-api.joincandidhealth.com`
- URL: `https://pre-api.joincandidhealth.com/patient-merge/v1/status/{mrn_or_id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Gets the merge status for a patient by patient ID or mrn. If the provided value is a valid UUID, it will be treated as a patient ID. Otherwise, it will be treated as an MRN.

- `mrn_or_id` string, required
