# MCP server liveness probe

`GET /mcp/health`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.johnsessentials.com`
- URL: `https://api.johnsessentials.com/mcp/health`
- Auth: none required

Public, no auth. Returns server name, version, and the MCP
protocol version we speak. AI clients hit this to verify
reachability before the bearer-authenticated handshake.

## Response `200`

MCP server is up.
