`POST /v1/images/edits`

## Request

Edit an existing image using a text prompt and optional mask. Inpainting and guided editing.

## Request body

- object
  - `image` string, binary, required: Source image to edit
  - `mask` string, binary: Optional mask marking areas to edit
  - `model` string: Image model ID (e.g. dall-e-2, gpt-image-1)
  - `n` integer: Number of images to generate
  - `prompt` string, required: Text description of the desired edit
