# Contextualize Status

`GET /v1/ingest/contextualize`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.june.januraine.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.june.januraine.ai/v1/ingest/contextualize`
- Auth: none declared

What contextual retrieval will do to the NEXT thing ingested.

Exists so the desktop's settings screen can warn about cost with real numbers rather
than numbers someone typed into the front-end once. Reports the RESOLVED tier — the
same distinction the startup announcer makes — because "the operator asked for the
model tier" and "the model tier will run" are different claims: asking for it with no
model configured quietly leaves you on the deterministic breadcrumb, which is the
exact silence this codebase keeps paying for.

Tokens, not money: prices change and vary by provider, so the engine reports the
work and the caller prices it. Capability only — never the model id.
