# Search Festival Series

`GET /festivals`

## Request

Search festival series (e.g. Outside Lands - the parent that ties every edition of a festival together) by name. Each hit includes the stable series id used by the detail and archive endpoints, plus edition count and most recent edition year/city.

Note: `GET /v3/festivals` without `name`/`festivalSeriesName` is the festival events feed (geo/date filters, etc.); providing a series name switches to series search.

    - `image` string, url: URL of an illustrative image, such as a press photo or logo. Most images are owned by third parties and JamBase grants no rights in them. Display by URL or from your own cache, refreshed when the URL changes. See https://data.jambase.com/api/docs/images. A general image or logo for the festival, not a lineup poster.
