# Remove a member from an organization

`DELETE /orgs/{org_id}/members/{user_id}`

Remove a member from an organization.

Requires the ``owner`` org role. The org Owner cannot be removed
(transfer ownership first). Agents owned by the removed member are
reassigned to the org Owner. 404 when the org or member does not
exist.
