# Get an API key

`GET /keys/{key_id}`

## Request

Return a single API key (masked prefix only).

Returns 404 when the key does not exist or is not owned by the
caller; the org scope is already enforced by ``require_org_role``
and the service's ``user_id`` filter.

- ApiKeyOut: A masked API key as returned by ``GET /api/v1/keys``. Never contains the full key — only the ``key_prefix`` used for display (``jk_live_aBcD…``).
