# Get the caller's org cost summary

`GET /billing/summary`

## Request

Return the org-level cost summary for the period.

Defaults to the current calendar month. Category totals come from
:func:`~app.services.billing._queries.get_org_summary`.

## Query parameters

- `period_start` string, date-time, nullable: Start of period (ISO 8601)
- `period_end` string, date-time, nullable: End of period (ISO 8601)
