# Clone an agent

`POST /agents/{agent_id}/clone`

Clone an existing agent's LXC container into a new agent.

Returns 202 immediately with the new agent id; the Proxmox clone +
WireGuard setup run in the background. Poll ``GET /agents/{new_id}``
to track provisioning.
