# Set a chat's status

`PUT /api/v1/chats/{chat_id}/status`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.izap.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.izap.ai/api/v1/chats/{chat_id}/status`

## Request body

- ChatStatusIn: The conversation's CRM status, as shown by the inbox status filter.
  - `status` 'open' | 'pending' | 'resolved' | 'archived' | 'blocked', required: New status for the conversation.
