# Snooze a chat

`PUT /api/v1/chats/{chat_id}/snooze`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.izap.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.izap.ai/api/v1/chats/{chat_id}/snooze`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Snoozes the conversation until the given instant, or wakes it by sending `null`. Like read state, snoozing applies to the whole team.

## Path parameters

- `chat_id` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- ChatSnoozeIn: When to wake the conversation, or ``null`` to wake it now.
  - `snoozed_until` string, date-time, nullable: Timezone-aware instant to snooze until. Null un-snoozes.

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- ChatReadStateOut: The shared read / snooze state of one conversation.
  - `chat_id` string, uuid, required
  - `business_id` string, uuid, required
  - `last_read_at` string, date-time, nullable
  - `snoozed_until` string, date-time, nullable

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid credentials.
- `403`: The credential is valid but not authorized for this action.
- `404`: The resource, or the business named in the request, does not exist.
- `422`: Validation Error
- `default`: Unexpected error.
