# Create a business

`POST /api/v1/businesses`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.izap.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.izap.ai/api/v1/businesses`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Creates a business together with its default settings, assistant and credentials. The authenticated user becomes its owner.

## Request body

- BusinessCreateRequest
  - `business_name` string, required
  - `owner_contact` string, nullable
  - `owner_contact_region` string, nullable
  - `owner_name` string, nullable

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- BusinessDetailsOut
  - `business_id` string, uuid, required
  - `business_name` string, required
  - `owner_contact` string, nullable

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid credentials.
- `403`: The credential is valid but not authorized for this action.
- `422`: Validation Error
- `default`: Unexpected error.
