# Read an SDF file into structures

`POST /api/prediction/sdf`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.ivive.app`
- URL: `https://api.ivive.app/api/prediction/sdf`
- Auth: OAuth 2 (password, token URL `/api/auth/login`)

Parses an uploaded SDF into name, SMILES and the file's own data fields, so a caller can review what was read before predicting. Unreadable molecules are listed by position.

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- SdfParseResponse
  - `molecules` SdfMolecule[], required
    - `index` integer, required
    - `name` string, required
    - `smiles` string, required
    - `properties` object: The file's own data fields, returned unread: a measured value in the file beats a prediction.
  - `errors` string[]: One per unreadable position in the file.
  - `total` integer, required: Molecules read, excluding the unreadable.
