# Create a compliance plan

`POST /configuration_manager/compliance_plans`

Creates a compliance plan which can be used to execute compliance reports.

## Request body

  - `options` ConfigurationManagerCompliancePlansPostRequestBodyContentApplicationJsonSchemaOptions
    - `description` string: Description of the compliance plan.
    - `status` 'draft' | 'active': The status of the compliance plan.
    - `nodes` ConfigurationManagerCompliancePlansPostRequestBodyContentApplicationJsonSchemaOptionsNodesItems[]: Nodes to add into the compliance plan.
      - `treeId` string: The treeId of the GC that the node belongs to.
      - `version` string: The version of the GC tree that the node belongs to.
      - `nodeId` string: The configId of the node.
      - `variables` ConfigurationManagerCompliancePlansPostRequestBodyContentApplicationJsonSchemaOptionsNodesItemsVariables
      - `devices` ConfigurationManagerDeviceDataDeviceName[]
      - `deviceGroups` ConfigurationManagerCommonMongoObjectId[]
      - `tasks` ConfigurationManagerCommonMongoObjectId[]
