# Run an agent in your workflow

`POST /agent-session-manager/sessions/run-agent`

Runs an agent and returns the agent session output to this workflow.

## Request body

- object
  - `terminationCallbackSignature` AgentSessionManagerSessionsRunAgentPostRequestBodyContentApplicationJsonSchemaTerminationCallbackSignature: IAP cog hook to invoke when the session reaches a terminal state. The IAP task stays running until the session completes, fails, or is canceled.
    - `location` string, required
    - `serviceName` string, required
    - `methodName` string, required
    - `identifier` string, required
  - `agent` string: An agent to be executed
  - `inputs` AgentSessionManagerSessionsRunAgentPostRequestBodyContentApplicationJsonSchemaInputs: Key-value pairs to pass as inputs to the agent session. Must match the agent's input schema.
