# Startup Endpoint

`GET /_startup`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.isometric.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.isometric.com/_startup`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

The startup probe is used by Kubernetes to delay probing liveness and readiness.

Since it is only run in the beginning, we're building the slightly expensive context in the
handler. We want to be sure that context works before serving traffic.

- `x-client-secret` string, nullable: A secret token identifying the client connecting to the API
