# Replay a recorded callback

`POST /v1/runs/{runId}/events/{eventId}/replay`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.ironfang.com/rig`

- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP bearer

Forwards a callback the run received to its connector route again, exactly as recorded, to prove the application handles a repeat. The event must be a `callback.received` on a resource with a connector route and the run must be active. The replay is recorded as `callback.replayed`, then travels like any delivery: the timeline shows its own `callback.forwarded` and `connector.request.completed` against the original event id. Armed faults do not act on a replay; it is the test's explicit act. At most 200 replays per run. Needs rig.run.

## Other responses

- `401`: No credential, an invalid one, or a delegated token where none is accepted (`unauthorized`, `invalid_api_key`, `delegated_not_allowed`).
- `403`: The credential lacks the permission or scope, or names another organisation (`forbidden`, `insufficient_scope`).
- `404`: No such object in this organisation (`not_found`).
- `409`: The run has already ended (`run_not_active`).
- `422`: The event is not a callback on a resource with a connector route
- `429`: The run has replayed its limit of callbacks
