# Erase one retained result now

`DELETE /v2/einvoices/results/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.ironfang.com/finance`
- URL: `https://api.ironfang.com/finance/v2/einvoices/results/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Erases the retained document and its name, V1 or V2, before its
30 days are up. Deleting an already erased or expired result
answers `204` again. The operation record stays, so a replay under
its Idempotency-Key answers `410 result_gone` and never runs or
charges again.

## Response `204`

Erased.

## Other responses

- `401`: The credential is missing or not accepted.
- `403`: The key lacks the scope this operation needs.
- `404`: No such release or result is visible.
- `429`: Too many requests.
- `500`: Ironfang Finance failed. Not a verdict on anything.
