# The append-only history of a finding

`GET /v1/findings/{findingId}/events`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.ironfang.com/audit`
- URL: `https://api.ironfang.com/audit/v1/findings/{findingId}/events`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP bearer

Every state change, assignment and comment, newest first, each attributed to the person or to the system. Comments are operational records and are not part of signed evidence. A finding whose rule flaps accumulates history without anyone acting, so this is paged like the other histories.
