# Get capabilities and limits

`GET /v1/capabilities`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.ironfang.com/analytics`
- URL: `https://api.ironfang.com/analytics/v1/capabilities`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP bearer

Which features this deployment offers today (a planned feature is listed as false rather than left out), the limits it applies and the schema versions it speaks. Needs analytics.sites.read.

## Response `200`

Capabilities

- Capabilities
  - `features` object, required: Each feature and whether this deployment offers it now.
  - `limits` object, required: Each limit by name. sites_per_organisation and stored_bytes_per_organisation are this organisation's own; the second is what its unexpired recordings may hold before new recordings are refused, 10 GiB unless a managed partner's agreement sets another figure.
  - `schema_versions` object, required

## Other responses

- `401`: No credential, an invalid one, an expired partner integration key, or a delegated token where none is accepted (`unauthorized`, `invalid_api_key`, `api_key_expired`, `delegated_not_allowed`).
- `403`: The credential lacks the permission or scope, names another organisation, or belongs to a partner integration that is not active (`forbidden`, `insufficient_scope`, `integration_inactive`).
