# Create an Async Records Export

`POST /records/exports`

## Request

Create an asynchronous export job for a records report, filtered by record types and properties. Returns an export ID that can be polled for status and a signed download URL. Prefer this over the synchronous `GET /records/export` for large exports, which can time out.

**OAuth Scope required:** `public.records.readRecords`

  - `types` union, required: Record types to export. Example: `["mutualNDA", "NDA"]`. A comma-separated string is also accepted.

  - `properties` union, required: IDs of properties to export, up to 10000. Example: `["counterpartyName", "agreementDate"]`. A comma-separated string is also accepted.
    - string
    - string[]

## Response `202`

Export job accepted for processing.

  - `status` 'processing', required: The current status of the export.
