# List Connection Requests

`POST /mcp/tools/list_connection_requests`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.iridiumhqmcp.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.iridiumhqmcp.com/mcp/tools/list_connection_requests`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

List the connection requests the user has RECEIVED and not yet answered: the people who
want to connect with them. Use when the user wants to see, count, review or triage who is
waiting to connect, e.g. "how many connection requests do I have", "who wants to connect
with me", "check my invites", "go through my pending invitations", including a big backlog
like 99+.

Synonyms the user may use: connection requests, connect requests, invitations, invites,
LinkedIn invites, pending requests, pending invitations, inbound requests, incoming
connections, network invitations, My Network invites, people who want to connect,
requests to connect.

If the user mentions connection requests but it's unclear they want to work through them
now, ask first: "Do you want to work with your connection requests right now?" Calling
this can start a background review and an email, so don't call it speculatively.

Each request has the person's name and headline, the note they attached (often empty), any
message they have already sent in the inbox (`message`, e.g. a recruiter's InMail), and an
accept / maybe / decline suggestion with a confidence. Read-only: it makes no LinkedIn call
and answers nothing. If the list is stale or not yet labelled (`reviewing` true) it starts a
background review, and the user gets an email when it finishes, so tell them that and don't
wait.

Do NOT use to send connection requests (outreach tools), to read or send messages
(list_chats / get_thread), or when the user hasn't asked about received connection requests.
