# Classify Inbox

`POST /mcp/tools/classify_inbox`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.iridiumhqmcp.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.iridiumhqmcp.com/mcp/tools/classify_inbox`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Triage the inbox into buckets (default: recruiter_inbound, candidate_reply,
cold_outreach_reply, spam) with a confidence per thread. Cache-first; repeat it to finish
a large backlog (`remaining`).

Each thread is judged on its type (regular DM / inmail / sponsored / linkedin_offer), the
sender's name and headline, the subject line if it has one, and the latest message.
linkedin_offer threads are labelled spam with no model call (`auto_labeled`).

Args:
taxonomy: optional custom list of labels to bucket into
limit: max PROVIDER CALLS to spend this call, retries included (default 25). Keep it
near 20 — the calls are sequential and a larger batch can outrun the client
timeout. `failed` counts threads the model would not label.
