# Detects if the IP address is being used in a mobile carrier network. It returns the Mobile Country Code (MCC), Mobile Network Code (MNC), and the originating country of the carrier.

Detects if the IP address is being used in a mobile carrier network. This API endpoint can be used to detect the usage of a phone device through an IP address. It returns the Mobile Country Code (MCC), Mobile Network Code (MNC), and the originating country of the carrier.

## Response `200`

Carrier detection response object.

  - `name` string, required
  - `mcc` string, required
  - `mnc` string, required

## Other responses

- `403`: Unknown token or invalid permission. We return the same error for blocking malicious IP addresses as well.
- `404`: Wrong ip. Please provide a valid IP address.
- `429`: Allocated API rate limit has been reached for the token. The user will be prompted with options to increase their API limit.
- `500`: Internal server error or server unavailable.
