# Read a collection with live figures (one call)

`GET /api/v1/collections/{id}`

## Request

  - none

Read one collection with the live figure of each item: value, period, change from a year earlier and source (name, url, citation, retrieval date). Cite the source of each figure you use. Counts as one call of the monthly allowance, however many items the collection holds.
Returns {collection: {id, name, default, visibility, role, share_url?}, items: [{id, kind, label, url, note?, figure?: {value, display, unit, period, change?, change_from?, status?, source}, detail?}]}. A ranking item's figure is the top-ranked place (named in detail); topics and publishers have no figure.

- `401`: API key required (UNAUTHORIZED).
- `404`: No such collection, or not shared with you (ITEM_NOT_FOUND).
