# Account Debit

`POST /api/v1/accountdebit/transactions`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://sandbox.interswitchng.com`
- URL: `https://sandbox.interswitchng.com/api/v1/accountdebit/transactions`
- Auth: OAuth 2

This method will accept certain parameters and returns a response based on the status of the transaction.

## Headers

- `Authorization` string
- `Signature` string

## Request body

- object
  - `SourceAccount` string, required: Accountnumber to be debited
  - `amount` string, required: Amount to be transferred(Minor: 5000 is equivalent to 50 naira)
  - `transactionId` string, required: Unique Identifier for the transaction
  - `sourceAccountName` string, required: Name of Source Account
  - `narration` string: Brief description of the transaction
