# Delete a ticket

`DELETE /tickets/{ticket_id}`

You can delete a ticket using the Intercom provided ID.

## Path parameters

- `ticket_id` string, required

## Response `200`

successful

- object — Response when a ticket is deleted.
  - `id` string — The unique identifier for the ticket.
  - `object` 'ticket' — always ticket
  - `deleted` boolean — Whether the ticket is deleted or not.

## Other responses

- `401` — Unauthorized
- `404` — Ticket not found
