# Account Positions

`GET /accounts/{account}/positions`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.interactivebrokers.com/tradingapi/v1`
- URL: `https://www.interactivebrokers.com/tradingapi/v1/accounts/{account}/positions`
- Auth: API key in header `portal`

Returns a list of positions for the indicated account.

## Path parameters

- `account` string, required

## Response `200`

Returns a list of positions for the indicated account

- object[]
  - `Position` number
  - `AverageCost` number
  - `ContractId` number
