# Delete

`DELETE /admin/roles/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.instruxi.dev/api/v1/enforcer`
- URL: `https://api.instruxi.dev/api/v1/enforcer/admin/roles/{id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `Authorization`
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

Deletes a CUSTOM role only — built-in slugs (admin, tenant_admin, developer, user) return 409 conflict, as does a role still assigned to any account (reassign those accounts first). System-admin (platform-only) gated.
