# Profile › Recommendations

`GET /v1/linkedin/profile/recommendations`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.insightsocial.app`
- URL: `https://api.insightsocial.app/v1/linkedin/profile/recommendations`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Returns the recommendations on a LinkedIn member's profile, with the recommender's name and headline, the recommendation text, and date.

Use it for written references, and set type to received or given to choose which side of the relationship you want.
