# Get incoming sms messages.

`GET /v4/sms/incoming/messages`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.inmobile.com`
- URL: `https://api.inmobile.com/v4/sms/incoming/messages`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP basic
  - API key in query parameter `apikey`

Each message will only be returned once. Once called, the message has been marked as read from our side and cannot be retrieved again using this method.
Using api callbacks in combination with this call does not conflict.

## Query parameters

- `limit` integer

## Response `200`

A list of messages

- IncomingMessageListModel
  - `messages` IncomingMessage[]
    - `from` IncomingMessageSender
      - `countryCode` string
      - `phoneNumber` string
      - `rawSource` string
      - `isValidMsisdn` boolean
    - `to` IncomingMessageTarget
      - `countryCode` string
      - `phoneNumber` string
      - `msisdn` string
    - `text` string: The text message.
    - `receivedAt` string: When the incoming message was received e.g. 2001-02-30T14:50:23Z (UTC time).

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `500`: Internal server error
