# Get updates

`GET /bot/getUpdates`

Long-polls the authenticated Bot's bounded pending-update queue.

## Query parameters

- `offset` string — A positive decimal Inline message identifier
- `limit` string — A signed decimal integer string within JavaScript's safe-integer range
- `timeout` string — A signed decimal integer string within JavaScript's safe-integer range
- `message_trigger` 'all' | 'mentions'
- `allowed_updates` union

BotGetUpdatesSuccess

- BotGetUpdatesSuccess — unresolved $ref

## Other responses

- `400` — The request parameters are missing or invalid.
- `401` — The bot token is missing or invalid.
- `403` — The bot is not allowed to perform this action.
- `404` — The requested method or resource was not found.
- `500` — The server could not complete the request.
