# Triggered when an outgoing WhatsApp message is first read.

`POST message:read` (webhook)

## Payload

- MessageStatusData
  - `event_type` 'message:delivered' | 'message:read', required: Webhook event name
  - `message` MessageStatusInfo, required: Status of an outgoing WhatsApp message. No chat, account, or body.
    - `message_uid` string, required: Same value as uid on GET /messages/{uid}.
    - `whatsapp_message_id` string, required: WhatsApp's message id for that message, the same value on every connected number that synced it; dedup key across numbers.
    - `status` string, required: Title-case WhatsApp status, Delivered or Read.
    - `message_timestamp` string, required: WhatsApp message time. Same clock as timestamp on GET /messages/{uid} and on message:sent:new.
    - `status_timestamp` string, required: When this Delivered or Read status was recorded.

## Acknowledgement `200`

Receiver accepted the event
