# Bitemporal sweep over an entity’s memory

`GET /v1/entities/{id}/timeline`

`fact.recorded` / `fact.retracted` events on the TRANSACTION-time axis — when the graph learned and unlearned things, not when they were true; each recorded event also carries `validFrom`, the valid-time instant, for readers that want the world’s order. `since` / `until` page the window; `recordedAt` cuts to events known by T. `userId` is honoured only while READ_SURFACE_USER_SCOPE is on (this surface predates migration 0055 and otherwise pins `userId IS NONE`); a user-bound token is pinned to its own end user, and a mismatch is 403.

Required scope: `brain:read`.
