# See what a template design looks like before saving it

`POST /v1/templates/preview`

Renders a PNG of the given `layoutHtml`/`layoutCss`/`sampleData` and saves nothing — try a design before creating it with `POST /v1/templates`. Same validation as creating a template. Optional `aspectRatio` (`16:9`, `9:16`, `1:1`) sizes the render; defaults to `16:9`. Raw `image/png` bytes, not an envelope. Rate limited per workspace.
