# Create a slideshow from images, videos or templates

`POST /v1/slideshows`

Creates a slideshow, optionally seeded with an ordered list of slides, each a `mediaUrl` (an image or video) or a `templateId`, with an optional `durationSeconds`: `{"title": "Lunch menu", "resolution": {"width": 1920, "height": 1080}, "slides": [{"mediaUrl": "https://example.com/menu.jpg", "durationSeconds": 10}]}`. Only `title` is required; add slides later with `POST /v1/slideshows/{id}/slides`. Returns the new slideshow (201); it plays once `renderStatus` is `Completed`.
