# Check whether an uploaded video has finished processing

`GET /v1/media/{id}`

Returns a media asset's `processingStatus` (`Ready`, `Queued`, `Processing` or `Failed`), and while a video transcode runs, `progressPercent` (0-100, from FFmpeg's own encoding progress) and, if it failed, `error`. Images and documents are always `Ready`. Poll at most every 5 seconds.
