# Get a link that shows what a screen is playing in any browser

`GET /v1/devices/{id}/stream`

Returns the device's stream links: `playerUrl` (plays either playback mode) is always populated; `hlsUrl` is populated only when the resolved `playbackMode` is `VideoStream`, and is null for `Html` mode. Flags `StreamNotReady` when nothing is playable yet, and `HtmlPlaybackMode` whenever the mode is `Html`. A screen with nothing scheduled has no mode to resolve: `playbackMode` reads `VideoStream`, `hlsUrl` is set and `StreamNotReady` says why.
