# Schedule a slideshow to play during specific hours of the day

`POST /v1/devices/{id}/schedule/entries`

Adds a daily time window to a device (dayparting): `{"slideshowId": "...", "startTime": "09:00", "endTime": "17:00", "priority": 1}`. Times are `HH:mm` in the workspace time zone; `priority` is optional (default 0). Outside every window the screen plays its default entry. A window that overlaps an existing one is rejected with `ValidationFailed`; an orientation mismatch attaches an `AspectMismatch` warning.
