# Rename a screen, change its resolution, or save where it is physically located

`PATCH /v1/devices/{id}`

Renames a screen (`name`), sets its resolution (`resolution`), and/or saves its physical location (`latitude`, `longitude` together, optional `locationName`) so `GET /v1/devices?near=` can find it by distance. Every field is optional; at least one is required.
