# See what should currently be on a screen

`GET /v1/devices/{id}/now.png`

The slide a device's currently-resolved slideshow should be showing right now, as a PNG, derived from the schedule, takeovers, slide rules and slide durations. This is what should be on the screen, not a camera on it — an offline TV may not actually be showing this. The slideshow and slide ids are in the `X-Slideshow-Id`/`X-Slide-Id` response headers.
