# Create a new API key for the workspace

`POST /v1/apikeys`

Creates a workspace API key: `{"type": "admin", "name": "Muse"}` for a full admin key (`isk_admin_`), or `{"type": "dataProvider", "name": "Till system", "slideIds": ["..."]}` for a push-only key (`isk_dp_`) that may only call `POST /v1/slides/{id}/source` for those slides. For a Push source, prefer `POST /v1/sources/{id}/keys`, which binds the key to the source. The plaintext key is returned exactly once as `key`; store it, it cannot be shown again. Workspace admins only.
