# Create a chunked upload session replacing the source of an existing media.

`POST /2/vod/media/{media}/upload/session`

Creates the upload bound to the given media, then opens a chunked upload
session whose identifier must be sent with each chunk and the finalize
call. The session metadata is cached for 6 hours.
