# Get identity

`GET /whatsapp/1/{sender}/contacts/{userIdentifier}/identity`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.infobip.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.infobip.com/whatsapp/1/{sender}/contacts/{userIdentifier}/identity`
- Auth: one of:
  - OAuth 2
    - Client credentials
    - Token URL: `https://api.infobip.com/auth/1/oauth2/token`
  - API key in header `Authorization`
  - API key in header `Authorization`
  - HTTP basic

Get end user's identity info. Feature is not enabled by default.

## Path parameters

- `sender` string, required
- `userIdentifier` string, required

## Response `200`

Identity successfully retrieved.

  - `acknowledged` boolean, required: Identity acknowledge status
  - `hash` string, required: Identity hash
  - `createdAt` string, date-time, required: Identity event creation date

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Recipient does not exist for a given sender or identity has changed.
- `429`: Too Many Requests
- `500`: Internal Server Error
