# Receive inbound messages

`POST receive-messages-api-incoming-messages` (webhook)

Incoming messages will be forwarded to this endpoint. [Set the inbound configuration](/docs/api/platform/numbers/my-numbers/resource-management/manage-inbound-configuration) for the number or resource by specifying your endpoint and we will send inbound messages to you as soon as they are delivered to us.

Make sure you set renderer or format to `MO_MESSAGES_API_JSON`.
